THE ON THE ROCK RALLY was a great time! Life with Jesus Rocks!

 

On Sunday, August 20 we had a great ON THE ROCK RALLY to celebrate Jesus and His work in our Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  Over a hundred and fifty adults, youth and children participated in the great day. Sunday School leaders and VBS leaders led the crowd in fun games and then there was a time for singing and praising the Lord.  First came our church service where Pastor Glenn preached about "LIfe on the Rock" and having faith in the Lord Jesus.  We sang great songs like "Blessed Be the Rock," "The Solid Rock", and "Rock of Ages".Then we enjoyed a delicious meal of pork burgers and hot dogs cooked by Dan Larsen and Steve Carley, with wonderful side dishes.Then there were many fun penny carnival events, including face painting and putt putt golf. Then Mary Behrends and Dawn Chipman helped us remember our promises to God at VBS, with all the great VBS songs.Everyone had a great time living life on the Rock!
